A Midsummer Night’s Jubilee

“Hast thou the flower there? Welcome, wanderer”

For my birthday this year, I’m throwing an on-book presentation of a Midsummer’s Night’s Dream in my backyard. I will be Puck (it’s my birthday, after all), but the rest of the roles are up for grabs for my friends and family.

It’s not going to be a public or remotely professional event, we’re talking sheet togas, a flashlight for a lantern, and the role of “Tree” is a possibility if you want to stand holding leaves in the background. I’ve got a link to the script (1 hour version) and a sign up sheet for roles below- if enough people are interested in a particular one, people can split it, or fight it out in a parking lot somewhere.

This is going to be a very ad-hoc, on-book, goofball ‘production’ barely worth of that descriptor, btw. At least… that’s the plan so far.

Want to PLay?

Lemme know what you want to do- the show is at my place, June 20th at 6… party to follow!

This is, I cannot stress enough- NOT A PROFESSIONAL OR PUBLIC EVENT, it’s just so my friends can kinda let me know where they’re at… so I’ll say this gently for anyone finding this randomly on the internet: if you don’t know where I live already, I encourage you greatly to find another venue for your awesome creativity and talent!
